Mineral Management That Treats the Portfolio Like an Asset

Acclaim provides ongoing mineral management for owners who want one organized system and an experienced point of contact overseeing the portfolio. We help families, trusts, estates, entities, and individual owners keep records current, monitor revenue and activity, and respond when operators or market conditions change.

What we manage

  • Ownership and property records
  • Royalty and revenue processing and reconciliation
  • Division and transfer orders
  • Lease administration and negotiations
  • Operator correspondence
  • Suspended and escheated funds research
  • Ad valorem tax administration support
  • Working-interest and JIB administration where applicable
  • Annual property and income reporting
  • Sale, hold, lease, participation, and development decision support
  • Acquisition and divestiture coordination when requested

Start with control of the portfolio

A management relationship begins by establishing what the owner has and how the properties are currently administered. We organize available deeds, leases, division orders, revenue statements, wells, operators, tax records, and legal descriptions; identify obvious gaps or inconsistencies; and establish the working portfolio record that ongoing management will rely on.

Then monitor what changes

Once the portfolio is organized, Acclaim monitors the recurring events that create work for mineral owners: new wells, operator changes, division-order requests, lease activity, revenue changes, suspended payments, property-tax obligations, working-interest proposals, and transaction opportunities.

Who is a good fit?

Full-service management is designed for owners with meaningful producing revenue, multiple properties or operators, inherited complexity, working interests, trust or estate requirements, or simply a desire to delegate the recurring administrative burden.

Smaller portfolios can still be accepted when the scope and economics make sense. In other cases, a focused project – such as ownership cleanup, division-order review, suspended-funds research, or a portfolio control audit – may be the better first engagement.

Owner-side management

Acclaim does not need to buy your minerals to benefit from helping you manage them. Our role is to keep the owner informed, organized, and prepared to make decisions about leases, offers, development, and administration from the owner’s perspective.

Professional boundaries

Acclaim performs mineral management and landman/advisory work. Landman research can identify records, ownership evidence, regulatory history, operator information, and issues requiring additional work. Legal title opinions, probate/legal advice, tax advice, engineering conclusions, and environmental determinations should be provided by the appropriate licensed professional. We can coordinate with those professionals when an engagement requires it.

Frequently asked questions

How do mineral-management engagements begin?

We start with a portfolio review to understand the properties, operators, producing revenue, ownership records, open issues, and the level of ongoing administration required.

Can Acclaim receive and distribute mineral revenue?

Our management agreements can provide for revenue handling and reporting when that structure is appropriate for the client. The exact account and authority structure is established in the engagement documents.

Can you manage working interests as well as royalties?

Yes, where agreed, including review and administration of joint-interest billing and related records. The scope is defined for the specific portfolio.

What if my portfolio is too small for full management?

We can often address the immediate problem through a fixed-scope landman, ownership, division-order, valuation, or transaction project and revisit recurring management later.
